Stock reports is where inventory answers the money questions — not just what's on hand, but what it's worth and what's moving.
The views
Stock valuation — per product: on-hand, reserved, available, low-stock threshold, and what it's worth at cost and at retail. The totals row is your inventory asset value — the number that lands on the balance sheet.
Movement summary — per product: purchased in, transferred out, adjusted, sold. The reconciliation view: where every unit came from and went.
Count sheet — the printable physical-count sheet, covered in stock take.
Filter it
- Location — one branch's shelves at a time
- Category — audit one section
- Search — one product
The reports worth a weekly slot
- Low stock — the reorder list. Cross-reference with sales by product so you're reordering what actually sells.
- Expiry (batch-tracked stock) — lots approaching their date, before they become write-offs. See batches & expiry.
- Movement — a product with big "Adjust" totals and no story is the shrinkage leak.
