Set what delivery costs and how customers pay — both required before the store can go live.

Two things every online order needs: a shipping price and a way to pay. Both live in settings, and both are on the store builder's go-live checklist.
Shipping rates
Settings → Shipping (on the general settings page) sets flat rates per speed:
- Standard, Express, Overnight — each a flat amount in your currency.
- Customers pick a speed at checkout; the rate adds to their order.
Keep rates simple and honest — a shipping surprise at checkout is the top cart-abandoner.
Payment methods
Settings → Payment methods lists the available gateways — enable the ones you support (cash on delivery, card, or the gateways configured for your region). An enabled gateway is what the go-live checklist's "Payment methods" card checks for.
After setup
- The checklist card flips to done automatically.
- Test the full checkout yourself: place an order on the storefront, pick shipping, pay (or choose COD), then find it in Orders.
Tip: Offer COD if your market expects it — but watch the "shipped + unpaid" filter in Orders; that's your at-risk revenue.
