Add your first product

Products power everything — the POS grid, stock tracking, reports and your online store. You can add them one by one, or import a whole catalog from Excel (Products → Bulk import).

Create the product

1. Open Products and click Add product (or Quick add for just a name and price).
2. Under Basic information, enter the product name.
3. Add a barcode if the item has one — scanning it finds the product instantly at the till.
4. Under Organization, pick a category so staff can find it fast.
5. Under Images, add at least one photo — it's what staff see on the POS grid and customers see online.

Add variants (sizes, colors…)

If the product comes in options — like sizes or colors:

1. Under Variants, add an option name (e.g. Size), then its values — type each value and press Enter.
2. SYEZPOS generates a variant for every combination. Each variant can have its own SKU, barcode, price and cost — or leave the price empty to inherit the main product price.

Set pricing

Under Pricing, enter the cost (what you pay) and the selling price. The cost feeds your profit reports and accounting, so it's worth filling in even if approximate.

Add opening stock

A product with no stock can't be sold. Two ways to load it:

• Small counts — enter the quantity on hand directly on the product.
• A purchase — receive a real purchase order under Purchases; it adds stock and records what you paid.

Publish online (optional)

Under Visibility, flip the status on to show the product on your storefront. You can publish later — nothing about the POS depends on it.

Save, and the product is live on the till. Next: make your first sale.
