The classic POS keeps every action one key away. These work while a shift is open — and the same list lives in-app under the ? menu → POS keyboard shortcuts.
The F-keys

Speed habits
- Ctrl+B beats reaching for the mouse — a barcode scanner types into the same box.
- F12 is the whole checkout — number keys type the tendered amount, Enter confirms.
