Not everything sells in whole pieces. SYEZPOS supports decimal quantities, so 1.5 kg of rice or 2.25 metres of fabric ring up exactly like a scanned shoe.

Built-in and custom units

Settings → Units lists the global units plus your own. A unit is:

  • a code (kg, m, dozen),
  • a name, and
  • decimals — how fine the quantity can be: 0 for whole pieces, 2 to sell in hundredths (1.25 kg).

Add a custom unit from the same page: code, name, decimal places → Save.

Selling in units

On the till, change a line's quantity to a decimal — 1.5 sells one and a half units and prices it accordingly. Stock decrements by the same fraction, so kilos-on-hand stay exact.

Tip: Keep whole-unit products at 0 decimals — a cashier can't accidentally sell "0.5 shoes". Reserve decimals for genuinely measurable stock.

When to bother

  • Weighed goods (grocery, butcher, dry fruit) → kg or g with 2–3 decimals
  • Fabric, cable, pipe → m with 2 decimals
  • Everything else → leave it at pieces
