POS Machine Price in Pakistan: The Full Picture

Prices move with the rupee and with brands, but the market settles into rough bands. A dedicated all-in-one POS terminal typically runs from around Rs 60,000 to Rs 150,000 or more. Add a thermal receipt printer (roughly Rs 15,000–40,000), a barcode scanner (Rs 8,000–25,000) and a cash drawer (Rs 8,000–20,000), and a full branded counter setup lands anywhere between Rs 90,000 and Rs 250,000+.

Cheaper Android-based handheld terminals sit at the lower end — roughly Rs 25,000–80,000 — and blur the line between 'POS machine' and 'phone with a printer'. Treat these as market ranges, not quotes: the same shelf looks different in Saddar, on Daraz, and from an importer.

A machine without software is furniture. Some sellers bundle a locked-in package; others sell the box and leave you to find a POS that runs on it. Either way, software is a monthly line item — and it is the part that decides whether the counter actually helps you.
